Business health checks
We deliver Business Health Checks to provide eligible business owners who are not participating in the Self-Employment Assistance Program with guidance to maintain their commercial viability. During a 3-hour session, there is an analysis of the operations of a business and suggested opportunities for improvement, including recommendations to local business support services that may be useful for the participant. There are 2,000 Business Health Check Places available nationally each year.
This service could include:
- A professional assessment of the financial performance and position of a business to determine its viability which, in a business sense, is the ability to survive.
- Performance improvement by analysing risks is the best way to prepare for eventualities that may block progress and growth. When a business evaluates its plan for handling potential threats and then develops strategies to address them, it improves the odds of becoming a successful entity.
- Business Health Checks give well-framed tasks for a business, starting with strategies, to execution, and implementation. Planning your finances well helps your business to identify the important strategies that need to be implemented. The actions you plan for your business should be measurable and should be able to generate more business.
